Hey guys, here is the Staff member structure list. This page is only for the staff members and you can see what your description and role is in the group.

President/Director:

The President/Director of FurIronCity's role is the visionary of the group, and responsible for the over all operation of the group, which in turn elects and removes the officers of FurIronCity, however there must be a discussion and guidance from the council. He/She oversees the human, financial, environmental, technical operations etc. of FurIronCity. He/She has full resonsibility for and of the group, and is the person that everything is reported to that concerns the groups well-being and functionality. He/She approves and declines any and all discussion concerning the group, and nothing is done without the approval of the President/Director of FurIronCity. All statements are final and there must be a vote made by the President/Director along with the council on the days they have staff meetings.

Vice President:

The Vice President of FurIronCity's role is to be ready to take the place and leadership of the President/Director if he/she isn't able to be present. As the Chief Network Officer his/her role is to network and gain partnership with other groups in the local area and the surrounding states. His/her job is to maintain a social network throughout their position, and works directly under the President/Director.

Chief Financial Officer:

A nonprofit's chief financial officer is one of the most important people within the organization. He can make a significant difference in the organization's ability to accomplish its mission and continuing to provide services and thrive in the future. As organizations' finances come increasingly under public scrutiny, a good CFO is needed to handle red tape, fast growth and complex issues that might drag down a well-meaning nonprofit. However, they must be knowledgeable about a number of issues in order to their job well. They must know the intricate ins and outs of nonprofit finance rules. They must understand how to deal with resource constraints and handle problems that you can't just throw money at. Also, they should have the personality that works in a nonprofit culture -- that success isn't just measured financially, but also in serving the organization's mission. Nonprofit CFOs also must be team players and people-oriented, since they must please not only the boss but the volunteers and donors, as well.

Secretary:
The secretary position of a non-profit organization plays a critical role in fostering communication and diligence through proper management and utilization of important records such as meeting minutes and the organization’s bylaws.

The secretary position has wide-ranging responsibilities, requiring much more than simply being present at all board meetings. He or she is an active conduit for communication by giving proper notice of any meetings and timely distribution of materials such as agendas and meeting minutes. Additionally, the secretary should be knowledgeable of the organization’s records and related materials, providing advice and resources to the board on topics such as governance issues, amendments to the state laws, and the like, that will assist them in fulfilling their fiduciary duties.

As the custodian of the organization’s records, the secretary is responsible for maintaining accurate documentation and meeting any legal requirements such as annual filing deadlines. The secretary is responsible for reviewing and updating documents as necessary and ensuring all documents are safely stored and readily accessible.

A secretary will be most useful to an organization when his or her role is catered to meet the unique structure and needs of the organization, rather than filling a “one-fits-all” job description. For example, these duties often increase when the corporation is a membership organization, giving members the right to elect the directors. Duties may additionally change from time to time as may be assigned to him or her by the board. The Secretary works with the Financial officer when times are required for accurate documentation.

Human Resources:

The Human Resources oversees all human resource management and industrial relations operations within FurIronCity, also be involved in board member selection and orientation, executive compensation, and succession planning. To have a broad and comprehensive knowledge of all matters related to the business of FurIronCity, In addition, functions such as communications, facilities, public relations and related areas may fall within the scope of the HR role. The HR reports directly to the President/Director and is a member of the most senior-level committees of FurIronCity, also is the one that takes care of any issues or problems within or around FurIronCity.

 

Chief Visionary Officer:

The Chief Visionary Officer is expected to have a broad and comprehensive knowledge of all matters related to the business of FurIronCity, as well as the vision required to steer its course into the future. The person in charge must have the core-competencies of FurIronCity, but in addition the visionary ideas must move the organization forward. These are used as the basis for defining  strategies and working plans for FurIronCity. To work on new ways to bring excitement back to the magic city and held events.

 

Chief Marketing Officer:

The Chief Marketing Officer of FurIronCity's role is marketing communications including advertising and promotions of the group. Once the marketing officer has made the sale of the group he/she will then release the information to the Chief Relationship Officer. Also as helping with the growth of the group.

Chief Relationship Officer:

The Chief Relationship officer responsible for key external relationships including Investor Relations, and sometimes Public Relations or Communications. Once the Marketing Officer advertise and promotes the group it is the responsibility of the Relationship Officer to keep in good standing and communication with the event or company.

Chief Technical Officer:
The Chief Technical Officer of FurIronCity's role is to keep up-to-date on the newest and best technology has to offer. Also the officer is responsible for keeping technical equipment up-to-date and in working order. Also to answer any technical questions given to them at any given time. For a convention purpose the technical officer is the overseer of registration or any types that has to go through the computer, also any sound and video equipment needs to be in working order.

Chief Security Officer:

The Chief Security Officer of FurIronCity's role is generally serves as the business leader responsible for the development, implementation and management of the organization’s security vision, strategy and programs. They direct staff in identifying, developing, implementing and maintaining security processes across the organization to reduce risks, respond to incidents, and limit exposure to liability in all areas of physical, and personal risk; establish appropriate standards and risk controls associated with intellectual property; and direct the establishment and implementation of policies and procedures related to data security. Also to make sure at any events that is held by FurIronCity and non FurIronCity events been controlled and reduce risks, incidents, and inappropriate behavior.

 

Art Designer:
The Art Designer of FurIronCity's role is to come up with new ideas and new concept art for the group. The Art Designer may create new art or concepts to be presented at any time or at a FurIronCity Staff meeting.

 

Photographer:
​The Photographer of FurIronCity's role is to insure that all types of media of the group is used properly and not abused. Is the overseer of how photo's are used and handled within FurIronCity, as well as how they will be used or is being used in the media or public view. The Photographer of FurIronCity is the official photographer of the group and can plan events for photo shoots and at any event if he/she sees that photo's are being used in an abusive way or malicious, he/she has the right to remove that picture and/or prosecute.
